Content Policy

Users are prohibited from uploading, sharing, or storing any content that is illegal, copyrighted without permission, malicious (e.g., malware), or harmful. This is a private server instance and the administrator reserves the right to remove any content and terminate accounts that violate this policy. EightySixK holds no responsibility for any content that may violate these policies, and you are solely responsible for ensuring they are abided by, if you believe any content violates the DMCA, please contact us via email immediately.

Data Collection & Logging

I believe in transparency. Here is what the server logs:

• Public File Browser: Actions such as file access, uploads, deletions, and renames are logged with your username, IP address, and a timestamp. This is for security and administrative purposes.
• Private Storage: The server logs ONLY the initial creation of your private storage vault. No logs are kept of any files you upload, download, rename, or delete within your private storage. The server administrator cannot see your private files.
• Private Chat: Message contents are logged on the server if the recipient is yet to log on and receive it, however the moment it is received, it is never logged on the server. The only data stored is the encrypted message payload, which is inaccessible without your password.

We do not sell or share any user data or logs with third parties and never will.

Technology Disclosure

To ensure you understand the security of your data, here is how our features work:

• Public Storage: Files are stored as-is on the server. There is no encryption or obfuscation. Access is controlled by permissions set by the administrator.
• Private Storage (Obfuscation): When you upload to private storage, the file content itself is NOT encrypted. However, the filename and folder structure are scrambled on the server. Without your password, it is impossible for an administrator to know the original name or location of your files, providing a strong layer of privacy.
• Private Chat (Encryption): All chat messages are encrypted when they are received and stored on the server, under an encrypted index, making them completely inaccessible without your key. It can only be decrypted by the intended recipient using their password. The server does not, and can not read your messages.
• Additional Disclosures: Artificial intelligence is used for multiple parts of this site, I will not attempt to claim that it isn't, changelogs are entirely written by AI, no user data is ever given to AI and never will be, If you have any questions about the usage of AI on this site contact me via email or discord.
